Mirzapur The Movie has reached a reported ₹125.10 crore in India net collections by its fifth day, according to The Times of India. That figure is higher than the ₹116.34 crore mentioned in the earlier estimate, which could not be independently verified.
The September 8 report puts Tuesday’s earnings above ₹15 crore and worldwide gross close to ₹177 crore. These remain reported box office estimates rather than confirmed final figures from the producers.
India collections cross ₹100 crore in four days
The film had already crossed the ₹100 crore domestic mark before entering Tuesday. Navbharat Times reported approximately ₹109 crore in India and ₹154 crore worldwide through its first four days.
The domestic and worldwide figures measure different totals. India net collections exclude applicable taxes, while worldwide gross includes domestic ticket sales before tax deductions and overseas earnings.
Opening-day tracking showed Hindi leading
Earlier reporting documented the film’s earnings as its first day progressed. According to The Indian Express, citing industry tracker Sacnilk, the film had collected ₹17.28 crore net and ₹20.39 crore gross in India by 7 pm on September 4.
That update covered 8,390 shows. Hindi screenings contributed ₹17.18 crore net, while the Telugu version added ₹10 lakh. Those figures were an opening-day snapshot rather than the completed day’s earnings.
Streaming franchise moves into cinemas
Mirzapur The Movie opened theatrically on September 4, 2026, taking the crime franchise from streaming to the big screen. The release date was also announced during Prime Video’s annual slate presentation, Moneycontrol reported.
Directed by Gurmeet Singh and written by Puneet Krishna, the film is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under Excel Entertainment, alongside Amazon MGM Studios. Its ensemble includes Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Divyenndu, Jitendra Kumar, Ravi Kishan and Rasika Dugal.
Ravi Kishan plays Babban Babua, joining the established characters from the series. The Indian Express reported on his addition to the ensemble on September 8.
